Exercise to Prevent Neck Pain

If you want to prevent neck pain, consider incorporating some easy exercises and stretches into your routine. You can do these 4 simple stretches for a healthy neck just about anywhere, including when you're at work and while watching TV. But before doing these moves, talk to your doctor.
1) Neck Turn

Good for Your Posture
There are 2 parts to this stretch.
For part 1: Sit up straight making sure ears are in line with shoulders.
For part 2:
- Move your head backward to automatically "tuck" your chin. You'll feel a stretch from your neck to the base of the skull.
- Hold for 5 seconds, and then release. Do this stretch up to10 times a day.
