What is causes plantar fasciitis?
- Physical activity overload such as jogging, walking, or stairs climbing,too much stress on your heel bone.

- The pain decreases with ambulation but then increases throughout the day as activity increases.Pain is worsened by walking barefoot on hard surfaces or by walking upstairs.

Self Care for Plantar Fasciitis
1) Rest the foot as much as possible especially during first week.Avoid jogging,running and excess standing.
2) Apply ice tender area a few times daily to reduce inflammation.Apply for about 15-20 minutes at one
3) Insert an arch support or heel support cushion into the shoes.
4) If heel pain occurs stop exercise immediately.Do not try the exercise through the pain.
